Music has been central to Carol's life since she tried out for a school production of The Magic Flute in elementary school and played the Queen of the Night. While pursuing a career in environmental law working with migrant farm workers and others, she concurrently composed songs for guitar and voice, formed and performed in a vocal trio and sang in many choruses and productions. As a parent, providing a stimulating music environment for her children was a priority and one of her greatest joys. Eager to continue sharing the beauty of music with young children, Carol did the Music Together training after her children headed off to college and is thrilled to be teaching Music Together classes on Beacon Hill and with Chickadee Music Together in the University District. She has a special interest in helping restore music to its rightful place in our society as a joy in which all are entitled to participate.
